Who should attend?

Anyone about to be, or recently appointed to, a first line management/supervisory role; anyone in a management role who has not received any formal management training; anyone with aspirations to managing others

Appreciation of the different leadership styles - self awareness
Developing style flexibility
Key management and leadership activities and skills
Decision making - different styles
Motivation the theories and the role of the manager - what motivates different people
Influencing and emotional intelligence - what is it? How to develop it
Developing good communication skills and flexibility
Dealing with difficult people - assertiveness skills
Transactional analysis for managers - overview

Our courses are practical, lively and participative. There will be a minimum of 6 delegates but no more then 12 on any course so individual attention is assured. Participants will receive a full workbook covering all areas covered to use as reference for the future.
